Bet365 Bet Builder is one bet built from more than one market on the same fixture. The price updates as you add selections, and it is recalculated when those markets affect each other. It is not a single-selection bet, and it is not a multiple across that same match. You can put up to 12 selections in one builder, with no more than six players from one team. A finished builder can sit inside a wider multiple only if every other leg is from a different fixture.
Bet365 Bet Builder stays on one fixture
The Bet Builder help page limits the tool to one fixture. Pre-match and In-Play markets can appear, but only on sports and fixtures where the tab is actually shown. Open the fixture, choose Bet Builder in the coupon header, then tap the prices you want. Each tap adds that line to the slip and the combined price changes. Enter a stake and choose Place Bet.
A single is one market at that market's price. A Bet Builder is several markets from that fixture priced as one bet. Adding a second result from the same fixture into the multiple, next to the builder, is blocked. You can combine builders from different fixtures, or mix a builder with ordinary selections from other fixtures.

The price is not the singles multiplied together
The help page says the price uses the individual markets and whether those markets affect each other. A match result and a correct score are not independent. The slip will not simply multiply those two prices and call it the builder. If a selection will not sit with the ones you already chose, it will not add. Being under the cap of 12 does not mean every market on the fixture is eligible.
Player props have a second cap: no more than six players from the same team in that event. A seventh player from that side will not go on, even if the bet still has room under 12.
Bet Builder+ is a shorter path for popular markets on selected events. The same Bet Builder rules still apply. It is not a second product with its own stake limit or its own void rule.
A void leg does not always leave the rest standing
On selected sports, a pre-match Bet Builder that includes player markets is recalculated if a player market becomes void. The help page keeps the sport list on that same article, so check it before you treat a missing player as a harmless void.
For every other market, if one selection inside the builder is void or a push, the whole bet is void or a push. One dead leg does not turn the builder into a winner on the lines that remain.
Stake, free bets, and what the builder does not change

More selections raise the price and cut the number of ways the bet can win. The builder does not remove the chance that one leg loses the stake. It also does not change deposit limits, verification, or whether the account is offered where you live. Does acca insurance cover a Bet Builder?
Do not assume it does. Acca insurance is a separate offer with its own market and leg rules. A same-fixture builder is not automatically the same bet as a multi-match accumulator.
Why will a selection not add?
It may be a different fixture, a seventh player from the same team, a thirteenth selection, or a market the builder will not combine with the lines already on the slip. The missing button is the restriction. There is no override.
Does a longer builder mean a better bet?
It usually means a higher price and fewer ways to win. Every selected line still has to land. The tool does not remove losing legs or change the stake you can afford to lose.
Is Bet Builder offered everywhere?
No. It appears on available sports and fixtures for accounts that can open them. Age rules and local betting law still apply. If the tab is absent, the fixture is not offering the bet.
